It is hard not to include Big Data when talking about Industry 4.0.
The importance of Big Data is also the theme of the Big Data Business Academy (BDBA), a project that has established a training and knowledge sharing platform for upgrading managers and employees in Danish companies to better utilize their opportunities in strategic use of data.
BDBA has, with the support of Industriens Fond, led a targeted education program involving 20 companies and to develop a report (http://bigdataacademy.dk/analyse/) that provides an insight into which parameters are relevant to data efforts in Danish companies. Experience from the project has shown that the optimization of the company’s resources and activities, as well as the social context, play an important role in creating successful Big Data projects. At the High Tech Summit’s Big Data track, you will be able to hear about some of these companies’ learnings and get insights into the world of Big Data from leading researchers at DTU.
Right now, more than 350 have signed up for the session, but there is still room if you would like to hear more about, among other things, “Big Data, Social Networks & Visualization” from DTU Professor Sune Lehmann Jørgensen or Grundfos’s targeted work with Big Data and IoT – see the full program.
As the facilitator of the Big Data track, the Big Data Business Academy is happy to welcome you to this interesting session. We look forward to meeting you at the High Tech Summit, where we are ready to talk about the opportunities in a strategic use of Big Data.
“It’s no use closing your eyes to the changes. We need to constantly keep up and try to influence the process.”
