Why are you exhibiting at High Tech Summit 2019?
“We know that IP (intellectual property) matters for start-up companies as IP can improve their earnings, profitability and funding opportunities. Shaping the future of a start-up company in collaboration with the client is a great motivating factor in our work, and we thrive in helping talented entrepreneurs turn their start-up company into a competitive and successful business, that is why we are attending.”
Which main themes interest you most?
“AI, Robotics are important themes for our industry right now. They raise new, relevant and big questions and legal considerations.”
What role do digitalization and robotic technology play in your company?
“It is important for us in order to continuously improve customer service and internal efficiency.”
What holds the most value for you at the summit?
“To be able to convey the message that IP matters. We understand that intellectual property rights (IP has many names) may be difficult to comprehend. When we advise entrepreneurs and startups, it is our clients’ passion, creativity, and ambitions that facilitate fruitful collaboration, not their knowledge of IP matters. We feel the need to spread the message, so we can do good by the entrepreneurs and help them scout and evaluate the market to certify that competitors have not already patented a similar product or technology. Having confirmed the patentability of the technology, we help draft and prosecute patent applications to protect the rights of our clients.”
What can we expect from Plougmann Vingtoft at High Tech Summit 2019?
“We will explore business opportunities, develop new networks and push the message that IP is a significant topic to take into consideration.”
“It’s no use closing your eyes to the changes. We need to constantly keep up and try to influence the process.”
